Alexander "Alex" Weinkauf

The family of Alexander Weinkauf wishes to announce his sudden passing on Monday, July 31, 2023 at the age of 84 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, Rod (Marie) Weinkauf, Roxanne (Gene) Ziefflie and Jeff (Deborah) Weinkauf; his 9 grandchildren, Justin (Sean) Weinkauf, Holly Weinkauf, Sharmain McIvor, Jon Ziefflie, Ryan, Linnette (Eric Porter) and Shealease; 4 great-grandchildren, Eloise, Luke, Olivia and Graysen; as well as many brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.

Alex was predeceased by his wife, Gladys; brother, Peter Weinkauf; sisters, Helen Hollman, Henriette Keller and Bernadette Hayes; sister-in-law, Doreen Weinkauf; and brothers-in-law, Joe Hollman and Walter Banach.

The Funeral Service to be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Champion, AB on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow at the Champion Community Hall.
