In Memory
Alvin Judson

Alvin George Judson passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the age of 87 years. Born in Manville, AB, then moving to Macleod, AB, where his father was stationed and then to the Evergreen area.
On July 8, 1953 he married the love of his life, Dorothy Bischke. They raised 6 children, 4 daughters and 2 sons, moving from the Evergreen area to Red Deer and finally settling down on their farm just east of Eckville. Family meant the world to him. Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren held a special place in his heart.
He was a hard worker and spent many years away from home, working for many companies in the gravel crushing business. After that, he settled in at Revelstoke Concrete, later changing their name to Inland Concrete. He retired from there in 2000. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading Western Books in his spare time.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Judson; 4 daughters, Val (Ron) Furlotte, Peggy (Terry) Shields, Joan (Brian) Battensby and Teresa (Lawrence) Langevin; 2 sons, Dave (Bev) Judson and Harvey (Kelly) Judson; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. He was predeceased by his parents, Norah and Wilfred Judson; sisters, Norah Harlow and Jane Cartier; brothers, Wilf Judson, Derrick Judson and Jim Judson; as well as a special granddaughter, Loraly Knopp and Special great granddaughter, Clara Shields.
As per Alvin’s wishes,
there will be no service held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society Kids Cancer Society or The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
