Anna "Ann" Iredale

Anna Burga Iredale (Nee: Young), of Calgary Alberta, mostly known as Ann, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026 with family surrounding her.

Born on February 22, 1932 in Bow Island Alberta, she lived a life marked by her years of caring for others as Registered Nurse. She is remembered for her kind heart and wonderful smile. She loved painting which is a hobby she started late in life.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert (Bob) Gissel, and her second husband Gordon Iredale.

Ann is survived by her only child, Alan Gissel, wife Jody, granddaughter Melanie and partner Nolan, and her grandsons Cobe, Caden and Eli. Also by grandson Michael Gissel, wife Candice and grand daughters Mackenzee and Ava, as well as the Iredale family.

A celebration of Life will be held on November 12, 2026 at Mountain View Funeral Home at 1605-100 Street S.E. Calgary, Alberta.
