Ashley Quehe
September 14th, 1988 - October 2nd, 2023
Born in New Westminster, British Columbia
Passed in Calgary, Alberta

Ashley Marie Quehe passed away on October 2, 2023 at the age of 35 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Sean; sons, Carter and Henry; mom Angela (Jed); sister Emily (Jesse); sister-in-law, Lindsay (Sylvester) and new addition baby Evelyn; mother-in-law, Teresa; father in-law Marv (Kim); grandparents Trevor (Mary); and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
She is predeceased by her grandpa Alex (Bonnie) on January 5, 2023.
Ashley was born in New Westminster on September 14, 1988. Even as a baby she was caring and sweet natured. She adored her little sister, Emily, and would play with her for hours. Her grandmother would host "Miss Manners" tea parties where Ashley would dress up in fancy dresses and hats from her grandmother's closet. Her favourite place to vacation was Disneyland and had many fond memories from the Happiest Place on Earth ensuring her husband Sean became a Disneyland fan too. Even as a little girl Ashley was a homebody and this transitioned later in life when she made a beautiful home for her family. Ashley met the love of her life, Sean, in 2009 and were married in January 2015. Soon after, they started a family and moved to Airdrie, Alberta in 2019.
Ashley always saw the best in people and touched many lives. She was a ray of sunshine and a beautiful soul both inside and out. We will miss her immensely.
Ashley didn't earn her angel wings, she had them all along.

I don't have words... Ashley, you were the most amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter and just overall the most beautiful person inside and out. Anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting you got to meet a literal angel. You deserved so much better than this... you had so much life left to live. I'll never make sense of how or why this happened. Just completely senseless... The only thing that is bringing any of us a shred of comfort is knowing that you're no longer in pain.. but this should never have happened in the first place. I'm so glad that everyone you loved and who loved you most were there in your final days right to the end. I'm glad in those last days I got to tell you a million times I loved you. I miss you every day. It hurts so much, I don't know how this ever gets better.. We'll take care of each other Ash, I promise. Sean and the boys and mom.. we'll be ok and we know you'll always be close. I couldn't have asked for a better sister, it was a privilege to grow up with you. I'll forever hold you close in my heart. I love you so much.
