In Memory
Audrey Hunter
It is with much sadness, that we announce the
passing of Adriana “Audrey” Hunter, on Monday, September 25, 2023 at age 79,
after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Audrey was a loving sister, wife, mother,
grandma, great grandma, aunt, and friend. She will be lovingly remembered by
her seven children, Elizabeth (Fraser), Carole (Calvin), Kevin, Lindsay (Ron),
David, Graham (Synthia), Diane (Bill); eight grandchildren; six great
grandchildren; many relatives and her best friends Elaine and George. She is
predeceased by her beloved husband, Wally, her parents, and many relatives.
Audrey enjoyed spending time with her family
and friends, doing numerous crafts, gardening, and baking her coveted
shortbread cookies to share with many.
The family would like to send a special thank
you to Unit 49, at Peter Lougheed Hospital, and AgeCare SkyPointe Hospice.
Your beautiful smile and open heart, you
encouraged us all, and never judged. We will laugh and cry as we reminisce
about the time we had you. You touched so many while you were here, all part of
your journey. Your life was a blessing, and your memory is our treasure. We
know that you are reunited with Wally and others that left too soon. You are
forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
A Celebration of Life, Open House, will be held at Woodside Seniors Club, 411 Woodside Drive NW Airdrie, on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 1 – 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to
Women In Need Society would be appreciated.
