Barbara Diane Krumm (nee Dobbyn)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Diane Krumm, affectionately known as Barb, on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at the age of 69.

Barb was born on July 18, 1955, in Swan River, Manitoba, where her love for nature, animals, and the simple beauty of life first took root. In 1979, she moved to Alberta, where she built a life and started her family, and where she remained until her passing.

Barb is lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Janine Bruce (Joel), Janelle Krumm (Clint Williams), and Jenna Krumm. She was a grandmother to Ryder, Rhett, and Kyra Bruce.

Barb had a deep and abiding love for the outdoors, where she found joy in birdwatching, wildlife, and the quiet companionship of horses. Her appreciation for nature was matched only by her vibrant passion for music and dancing, which brought joy to many around her.

A gifted and creative soul, Barb found fulfillment in painting, crafts, reading, and puzzles. Her talents were as diverse as they were beautiful, and her work was always a reflection of her imaginative spirit.

She will be laid to rest at Harlington Cemetery in Kenville, Manitoba this summer, a final return to her roots in the land she loved.
