In Memory
Barbara Siemens

It is with great sadness, but with so much love, we announce the passing of wife, mom, ammy, sister, auntie, sister-In-law, mother-In-law, ammy-In-law and great ammy, who entered into rest in Three Hills, Alberta on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was surrounded by family as she met her Lord and Savior. Barbara treasured John, her husband of 55 years. She leaves behind her children, Colette (Siemens) Pettis, Carla (Siemens) Wilson and Tony Siemens.
Barb shared companionship, laughter, tears, prayers, sorrows, joys and love of Jesus with her husband. Their strong bond was evident to anyone who spent time in their presence. They walked hand in hand through life, and continued that connection, as the love of her life escorted her into the beautiful hands of Jesus.
Because of the love she shared with John, her children are blessed with a legacy of faith, an example of true love, and compassion for others. She bestowed these blessings to her children which will be treasured for generations.
Barb’s walk with God was truly an inspiration. She was well known as a prayer warrior with an ever growing list of concerns for others. Her compassion knew no end. Even in her passing, her prayers continue to touch the lives of many.
Barbara was well known for her many talents including sewing, crafting, baking and hair styling. She used these gifts to bless her family and friends. She will also be remembered for what was lovingly dubbed her “Apocalypse Room”. It was always well stocked and marked with purchase dates. If anyone was in need or invited her to a potluck, she was more than prepared.
She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure by her family and friends.
Barb was born on July 10th, 1953, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
She leaves behind her husband, John Siemens; her children, Colette (Mike) Pettis, Carla (Noel) Wilson, and Tony (Vickie DeClark) Siemens; her grandchildren, Bryston (Nicole) Stanton, Brooklyn (Adam) Gillis, Matthew (Karlee) Wilson, Zach (Emma) Wilson, Katelyn Wilson, Jessica Pettis, Hailey (Josh Krettler) Pettis and Tristan Pettis; her great grandchildren, Bradley, Delilah, Scarlett, and Marisiah Kesslar, Mason, Scarlette and Bennett Price, Jaxton, Logan and Aleksander Krettler, Noah, Peyton, Patterson and Deklan Sparks; her siblings Sharon Bedford, Don (Anita) Bruce, Donna Diprose, Barry Bruce, Brenda (Don Harke) Millan, and Gladys (Ed) Bruce.
Barb was predeceased by her parents, Grant and Hilda Bruce; as well as her brother in law, John Bedford.
Barb will be missed by a multitude of in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Three Hills Health Centre for the care and compassion they provided. They went above and beyond to ensure Barb’s wishes were honored and kept her comfortable and pain free.
