Bill Mjolsness

William Ronald Mjolsness (Bill), 91, of Carstairs Alberta, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024. Bill was born on December 4, 1932, to Thora and William Mjolsness, he was one of four children. He married his love, Lois Brooks, and they adopted two children, Shauneen and Murray. Bill owned Watash Trucking until he retired. Bill’s early trucking career took him to the Yukon where he spent many happy years in Whitehorse with his family. He loved to snowmobile, camp and fish. Later in life, Bill and Lois moved to Carstairs, Alberta, where they bought a small farm with horses and miniature donkeys. Bill continued to work and play. Bill is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Shauneen; son, Murray; and brother, Bruce. He was predeceased by his wife, Lois Mjolsness; brother, Donald Mjolsness; and sister, Lois McGuire.  In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation to Good Samaritan Clearwater Centre, 5615-60 Street, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, T4T 1W2.
