Bonnie fell in love with the community and made it her lifelong home, raising her two children there.
She worked for many years at Cobb’s Grocery Store, where her bright smile and quick wit made her a favorite among customers and coworkers alike. Later, she joined PTI Camps as a Second Cook, where she continued to bring her hard-working spirit and cheerful energy to everyone around her.
Bonnie will be remembered for her outgoing, bubbly personality, her witty sense of humor, and her remarkable ability to connect with anyone she met. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Linda Campbell and Lawrence Campbell; her grandchildren, Payton, Liv, Dylan, and Sawyer; and her brothers, James Campbell and Manley Campbell, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Helena Campbell.
In her free time, Bonnie loved to read, crochet, listen to music, dance, and challenge herself with crossword puzzles. She lived life with laughter, kindness, and authenticity.
Her family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Royal Oak for the care and compassion they provided during the final years of her life.
Bonnie often shared a few favorite sayings that reflected her beautiful heart and perspective on life:
> “Walk a mile in my shoes before you judge me.”
“Treat a person like a person.”
Her words, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
