Brian Faber

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Brian Eric Faber, of Airdrie, Alberta, on June 19th, 2026, at the age of 54.

Brian was born on September 17, 1971, in Galt, Ontario, to Hank and Elizabeth Faber. He spent much of his early life in Masstown, Nova Scotia, where he developed a strong work ethic, a love for the outdoors, and a deep appreciation for his family and community. Brian earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree and built a successful career doing work he was passionate about. As an Agricultural Engineer and part owner of Double T Equipment and Manufacturing, he was respected for his knowledge, dedication, and commitment to serving the agricultural community.

Brian was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Jackie Faber, and a proud father to his daughters, Alexia and Brianna, who were the greatest joys of his life. He was a loving brother to Richard and Dennis Faber and a cherished uncle to Chris, Scott, Alison, Mitchell, Daniel, Jacob and Quinn Faber. As well as a loving son-in-law to Bob Wittig, and brother-in-law to Lynda, Debra and Steve. He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by his presence. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Joan Wittig.

Brian embraced life with enthusiasm and adventure. He enjoyed biking, traveling, paddle boarding, gardening, investing, and spending time outdoors. Whether exploring new places, mentoring others, tending to his flowers, or sharing an adventure with family and friends, he found joy in the beauty of God’s creation. His faith was a guiding force throughout his life.

Brian was deeply involved in his church community, particularly through his men’s group, where he formed meaningful friendships and encouraged others in their faith journeys. He found strength and inspiration in scripture, especially Proverbs 4:23, Philippians 4:7, and 1 Peter 3:15. One of Brian’s most frequent pieces of advice was to persevere. He believed that life’s greatest rewards often came through persistence, faith, and the willingness to keep moving forward despite setbacks. Those who knew Brian will remember him as a dedicated, loyal, and steadfast man. He was loving, caring, empathetic, and determined, with a strength of character that inspired those around him. His generosity, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and faith leave a lasting legacy. Brian’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service for Brian will be held Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11:00AM at Kingdom City, 1604 Summerfield Blvd, Airdrie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation in Brian’s name be made to the Airdrie Food Bank, https://www.airdriefoodbank.com/donatefunds
