Bruce Alan Irwin

It is with great sadness that the family of Bruce Alan Irwin, announce the passing of their father, brother, grandfather, and uncle who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the age of 70 years.

Bruce was born in Calgary, AB to Max and Gwen Irwin. He grew up in Bowness and was well known in the community. Bruce's greatest joys came from socializing with friends and spending time with his family. He was always there to lend a helping hand.

Bruce will be forever missed by his two children, Max (Ida) and Jeff; his two grandchildren, Benjamin and Elissa; his sister, Judy; and his brother, Rob. He is predeceased by his parents, Max and Gwen Irwin.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Carewest - Sarcee for taking such great care of their father and brother. Honouring Bruce’s wishes, an open Celebration Of Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion 238 (Bowness location) on Saturday, March 8, at 2:00 pm.
