Cameron David Halliday

September 8th, 2004 - March 31st, 2025
Cameron David Halliday

On Monday, March 31, 2025, surrounded by love, Cameron David Halliday passed away at just 20 years old—a short life, but one filled with extraordinary creativity, deep kindness, and quiet courage.

Born in Calgary and raised in Airdrie, Cameron was a talented photographer, videographer, and concept artist. His eye for beauty and his passion for visual storytelling were a gift to everyone around him—he leaves behind a body of work and a legacy that continues to inspire.

Cameron lived his life in the face of Cystic Fibrosis and the challenges that came with it, including a double lung transplant in 2022. In the midst of it all, he remained steady, creative, and deeply present—choosing to pour into the people and passions he loved.

He was the beloved son of Don and Heather Halliday, and a cherished brother to Jessica, Jennifer, David, Carmen (Harman), Joelisha, Silvia, and Laura. He was the world’s best uncle to Kyler, Diem, and Rohan, who lit up whenever he was around.

Cameron’s humour, honesty, and creativity will be missed more than words can express.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Journey Church, 10307 Eamon Rd NW, Calgary on Saturday, April 5 at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome to come and celebrate Cameron's life.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Cameron’s memory to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, www.cysticfibrosis.ca.
