Carla Marie Salsman

Carla Salsman passed away suddenly with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the age of 57.

Carla will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jessica Salsman, Mitchell Salsman, Brittany Pearl, Morgan Pearl and Natasha Pearl; her father, Carl (Ann Marie) Bezanson; and her siblings. She was predeceased by her mother, Marie Oliver; and her son, Nicholas.

Carla was born in Halifax, NS, and lived there most of her life. She moved to Alberta in 2014 to be closer to her family, but always missed the ocean air and good seafood. Carla enjoyed hiking, music, attending concerts and winning contests. She was known for her cooking, as it was her way of connecting with family and friends over a meal with a glass of wine. She was a confidant to many of her friends, was easy to talk to and an excellent listener.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Nova Scotia at a later date.
