DURAND, Carol Ann (nee Hawley)

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carol Ann Durand, on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the age of 64, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  She is lovingly remembered by Doug; her children, Jaclyn, Tracey (Kevin), Chantel (Richard), and Dustin; her grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Levi, Logan, Gabby, Hunter, Lily and Greyson; her siblings, Lydia, Donna, Jim, Patty, and Terry; brother in law, Brett (Stacy), sister in law, Tracey (Randy), and father-in-law, Willard Durand; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Carol was born and raised in Olds, AB, and spent her life managing many restaurants around town.  She was a lover of cats, an Oilers fan (but NOT of Conner McDavid), and always had time to spend with her grandkids.  She was a firecracker and will always be remembered for her feisty personality.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edna and Don Hawley; and her mother in law, Noreen Durand.
