Carol Elaine Greenwood

Carol Elaine Greenwood, born on September 27, 1947, in Whitehorse, Yukon, passed away on November 4, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta.

As a young woman, Carol had a passion for horses and Motown music. She was an avid reader throughout her life and could always be convinced to dance to the Temptations. After a turbulent youth, Carol settled in Calgary in her twenties, obtained a B.A. in English, and began her career in the oil and gas industry as a secretary. She worked her way up to a management position in the land acquisitions department of her company.

Carol was the eldest daughter of the late Arthur Victor Greenwood and Yvonne Patricia Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Greenwood, earlier this year. Carol will be lovingly remembered by her three younger siblings: Terry Greenwood, Ken Greenwood (Margie Kensah), and Gail (Robert) Wakulich.
