In Memory
Carolin Ann Hudson (nee Murdy)

Carolin Ann Hudson, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on August 29, 1965, in Huntsville, Ontario, Carolin lived a life marked by faith, love, and resilience. She was 60 years old.
Carolin was married to her devoted husband, David, for 34 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, commitment, and a shared passion for travel and adventure. Carolin and David embraced the beauty of their country, from the forested lakelands of Ontario to the majestic mountains of British Columbia, creating cherished memories on their journeys. Carolin was a nurturing mother to her two sons, Jonathon and Christopher (Courtney). Carolin’s family was her pride and joy, and her legacy of love will live on through them.
The daughter of Ted and Ellen Murdy, Carolin grew up in a close-knit family. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Allan (Rosa Maria), sisters Barbara (Claude), Donna, Brenda (Doug), and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Jerry and David. Carolin was also a cherished sister-in-law to Cheryl (John).
As a child, Carolin was known for her remarkable gymnastic skills, displaying grace and determination that would define her throughout her life. In her later years, Carolin’s faith in our LORD and SAVIOR became the cornerstone of her existence. Her faith shone brightly, inspiring those around her with her unwavering trust in GOD’s plan and her commitment to sharing HIS love.
Carolin’s life was a testament to strength, kindness, and devotion. Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her strong spirit and steadfast faith. Per Carolin’s wishes, there will be no memorial service; instead, a private family gathering will be held in her memory.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to everyone for their unwavering help and support during Carolin’s battle with cancer. Special gratitude is offered to the staff at Calgary Foothills Hospital and Dulcina Hospice for their compassionate care and attention to Carolin during her time of need.
