In Memory
Catherine Mary Krause

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Krause at the age of 89.
Mary met the love of her life, Ken, in Edmonton and they were married in 1955.
Mary and Ken lived in various towns in Alberta. Once the children were grown up they moved to Langley, BC.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Wayne Krause, Rob Krause and family, Darrell Krause; daughters, Kathy Basaraba and family; Carrie Hemmerling and family; Cheryl Brown and family; sister, Margaret McKinnon and family, as well as numerous other relatives and special friends.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Ken Krause; her parents, Catherine & William Welby; her mother and father in-law, Esther and Albert Krause; her brothers, Robert Welby and William Welby; brothers-in-law, Joe McKinnon and Ed Goodridge; sisters-in-law, Audrey Welby and Joyce Goodridge; as well as nephews, Teddy Welby, Ron Welby and Danny McKinnon.
Mary had a kind soul with a warm heart and a smile that could brighten up any room. She had an amazing sense of humour with the cutest giggle. Her love for her family ran deep and she loved to receive and give hugs. She loved to wave to people with her little queen wave. She cherished her holidays with her family in Kelowna. Mary was an avid bowler and she loved to curl. She was a big fan of the Calgary Flames and Toronto Blue Jays.
At this time the family would like to extend their appreciation to Bethany Sylvan Lake for their special care during Mom’s stay there, as well as Prairie Rose for their kindness during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
