Charles "Bill" Johnston

It is with great sadness but peaceful hearts that we announce the passing of Charles (Bill) Wilbert Johnston on Dec 5, 2022, after a long battle with illness.

Father to Karrie (Dwight) Strohan and Kim (Gerard) Cox.  He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Candace Ekins, Brad Strohan, Christine (Ed) Beer and Nicholas Casey. Great Grandchildren Bryce Ekins, Seth Ekins, Jocelyn Beer. Ryder Beer and Hunter Casey. Step Great Grand Children Kristen Beer, Danielle (Brandon) Borodey . Gr Gr Grandchild Hailee Borodey , one brother Don(Katie) Johnston and extended family.

The family wish to thank the amazing staff at Chinook Winds Lodge in Carstairs for all the special love and care given to Bill over the past 4 years. He always talked so highly of the Angels looking after him. We would also like to thank Dr Milner and the Didsbury Hospital Acute Care unit for the care and compassion shown to him and our family in his final days.

As per Bill’s wishes there will be no service. The family will gather for a special memorial at a later date.
