Connie Bunnah

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Connie Bunnah, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who peacefully left us at the age of 80.

Connie and her husband, Larry were married for over 63 years. They farmed in Saskatchewan, and settled in Calgary to raise their family in 1971. In 2000 they retired to Didsbury to enjoy time with their children and grandchildren.

A dedicated mother, Connie raised three children, two sons, Marcel (Tammie), Joe (Dawn), and a daughter, Mandy (Scott). Her pride and joy were her four grandchildren: Carly (Jeb), Danny (Kallista), Maxine and Clayton, who brought her endless happiness.

Connie loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. Through earlier years most weekends were spent camping and fishing at McGregor Lake. Once settled in Didsbury she enjoyed baking, hosting game nights, going to crib nights throughout the county, and camping during the week with the seniors camping group.

Connie was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Olds & District Hospice Society, www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/44970

I was so saddened to hear of Connie’s passing. I will always remember her generosity, her kindness, and her sense of humor. She and Larry were always welcoming, the coffee was on and something delicious, whether it was cake, cookies, or fresh buns was served. I will miss our visits. Sending our deepest sympathies to Larry and families.
