Coralie Walters

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandma, Sister, Niece, Aunt, and friend Coralie (Carola) Walters who passed away by family on Wednesday March 25, 2026. Coralie was born December 14, 1951 in Antigua, West Indies. She grew up as a young girl in Antigua before she left for England when she was 10. Coralie attended college in England where she became a nurse.In the late 1970s, Coralie left England with her Uncle to explore for the first time Canada. She quickly fell in love with the City of Calgary. Coralie had 4 children, and 3 grandchildren. Coralie and her family built a life in both Calgary and Southwestern Ontario over 42 years. For those that knew Coralie, you will know that she was always smiling, kind, funny and cheerful. She loved and supported her children faithfully, passionately and unconditionally. Coralie loved attending the local farmers markets, loved dancing in the parade and at the park during Carifest/Cariwest with her children and grandchildren, she loved walking outdoors, and always enjoyed a good sale at the mall. Coralie was so strong and a fighter! Coralie fought breast cancer for over 10 years. She handled her illness with grace, self-determination and patience. She is lovingly remberered by her 4 children, Makeeba Gray, Zinzi, Mazuri Walters, Nandi-Bramble Walters, 3 grand children, Rozalina (Roza), Milo Bramble-Thompson, Aziza Bramble-Thompson, step grand-child Delilah, her sister Sarah Knowles, brother Vernon Archibald, 2 nieces Shawn Joesph, Eve Walters, and a nephew Vernon Archibald Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Barnabas Church, 1407 7 Ave NW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 12:30PM MST with a reception to follow.
