Cory Thomas Leech

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Cory Leech, who passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 40.

Cory faced many challenges throughout his life, including a long struggle with addiction and mental health. These struggles sometimes created distance from his children, but those who knew him understood that he cared in his own way. He had a good heart, a sharp sense of humour, and a kindness that showed through even in difficult times.

He is survived by his children, Alexis, Lilly, and Keeton; his parents, Erin and Todd Leech; and his siblings Ryan and Scott. Cory will also be remembered by many relatives and friends who shared moments of laughter, understanding, and care with him over the years.

A gathering to celebrate Cory’s life will be held at the Crossfield Library on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 6:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to come together to share memories and honour his life.

In memory of Cory, the family asks that you take a moment to check in on someone who might be struggling. A small act of compassion can make a difference, and it is something Cory himself would have appreciated.

Cory’s life was not defined by his struggles but by the love he gave, the lessons he left behind, and the people who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
