Craig Patrick Parent

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Craig Patrick Parent, who left us on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 56. Born in Ponoka, Craig grew up in Lacombe, where he cultivated a deep love for family, sports, and the great outdoors.

Craig was an avid athlete and outdoorsman. He spent much of his time playing hockey, baseball, waterskiing, fishing, and boating. Craig’s adventurous spirit and passion for life were evident in everything he did. He devoted most of his career to the oilfield industry, where his hard work and dedication were admired by all who knew him.

Above all, Craig cherished his family. He was the beloved son of Bernie and Dawn Parent and loving brother to Stephen (Melanie) Parent. He was a proud uncle to four nieces, Jordyn, MacKenzie, Brenna and Raeghan, whose lives he touched with kindness, laughter, and unwavering support.

Craig will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the adventures remembered, and the love that continues to grow in the hearts of those he left behind.
