Cynthia Berezay

Cynthia Patricia Berezay (nee Winchester) peacefully passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 years, Rod Berezay; her children, Monique (Gary) Speight, Denis (Susan) Roberge, Chance (Tara) Berezay and Shari Simpson (Jesse Roshuk); her grandchildren, Shalane, (Chuck) Martel, Brandon (Samantha) Speight, Shelby (Dan) Scott, Victoria, Christian, Ella, Maddox, Hannah, Autumn, Cora, Colby, Ava (Will) and Ella; her great grandchildren, Blake, Brooke, Layne, Lochlan, Lawson, Bowen, Jaxyn; her siblings, Kit (Dan) Hewitt, John Winchester, Glen Winchester and Nancy (Murray) McGeachy. As well as many other family, cousins and friends, including Rod’s family of his nine brothers and sisters and family.

Cynthia was predeceased by her father, John Winchester; stepfather, Glen Carlson; sister, Kristyne Carlson; nephew, DJ Hewitt; as well as Rod’s Parents, Dean and Enola Berezay.

Cynthia loved her family deeply and was especially proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Independent by nature, she was never one the follow the crowd and preferred to do things her own way. Her quiet strength, determination and unique outlook on life will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
