Daniel Ray Myers, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2024, in Red Deer, Alberta, at the age of 65.

Born on November 3, 1959, in Stettler, Alberta, to Russell Clifford and Roberta Helen Myers, Dan lived a life filled with kindness, love, and laughter. He will be deeply missed by his children, Matthew (Kathleen) and Sarah (Ryan) Evans; his cherished grandchildren, Denelle, Carey, Abigail, Madison, and Rhys; his siblings, Glenn (Deb) Myers, Dianne (Jay) Thibault, Terry Myers, and Don (Dianne) Tough; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dan was predeceased by his loving wife, Susan Myers; and his parents, Russell Clifford and Roberta Helen Myers.

Throughout his life, Dan dedicated himself to his family and his community. He worked as a custodian for the Red Deer Public School District, where he was known for his friendly demeanor, the many friendships he formed, and adored as Mr. Dan by the children of the Red Deer Christian School.

In his free time, Dan enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He was an avid fisherman, finding solace in the tranquility of the water. He also possessed a remarkable talent for woodworking, creating beautiful and unique pieces. Most importantly, Dan cherished spending time with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured.

Dan will be remembered for his kind and loving nature, his generous spirit, and his infectious sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
