Darrel John Robock

Darrel married Shirley Richards on April 9, 1949 and together they celebrated 75 years. Darrel and Shirley had 5 children, Wayne, Dennis (Diane), Elaine (Don), Ian and Ron (Muriel). Darrel was predeceased by his sons, Ian and Wayne; his father and mother, Frank and Anna Robock, his wife’s parents, Clarence and Ann Richards and one granddaughter, Julie.

Darrel had 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grand child.

Darrel worked doing many things over the years from picking fruit and delivering milk in his teens to working as a parts man at a farm implement dealership when he retired at 65.

Darrel and Shirley spent many of the retired years traveling all over Western Canada and parts of the USA. Eventually deciding to spend much of their retirement time between Bassano, AB and Sparwood, BC.
