In Memory: David Paquette

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Gerald Paquette of Calgary, AB.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, Erika and Jennifer and their families; the mother of his children, Sheila McCauley, his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Judi Paquette; his nieces and their families of Vancouver, BC; as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Nomi Lyonns and Marc Davis.

He was predeceased by his father, Gerald Paquette; his mother, Winnifred Umpherville; and his sister, Diane Miranda.

David was a quiet man who enjoyed spending time with his children, researching companies, and building WWII models.

Though you are gone, the love you gave us remains, a beautiful reminder of your presence in our lives.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.

I knew David while our kids were growing up together, Erika was a new born when we all first met. Dave and Sheila and Ken an I were friends and used to hang out. So much changed over the years for all of us and we lost touch. I will always remember David's quiet chucke and stories about the news as well as the gaming all nighters the guys used to pull with these massively intricate war board games. He was quiet and thoughtful and took pride in DIY projects around the house or discussing something interesting he had read or telling stories of his girls whom he was so very proud of.

Shelia, Jenny, Erika and your families, I am sorry for your loss. He was a good man.
