Debbie Scott-Rieger

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debbie Scott-Rieger, a beloved wife, stepmother, grandmother, and close friend to Connie, Danielle, and Larae. Debbie passed away Sunday, August 25th, 2024 in Strathmore, Alberta, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Debbie had a passion for Facebook games, a past-time that brought her joy and relaxation. She also adored spending time with her loving animals, Tasha, Baxter, Ginger, Pickle, and Diesel, who were a constant source of companionship and happiness. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her loving husband, Rod. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect, and she found immense joy in their shared moments together.

Predeceased by her parents, Wilf and Wendy Scott, Debbie is remembered by her loving husband, Rod Rieger; step-children, Marlene Lachance (Jeffrey Lachance), Bradley Symons-Rieger (Kandyce Watson), Angela Symons-Rieger, and Chelsea Symons-Rieger (Corbin Hebert). Deb was a proud grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren, Koda Symons, Payton Lachance, Kason Symons, Jaya Symons, Luca Hebert-Symons, and Ellie Hebert- Symons. Debbie leaves behind her brother Brent Scott (Jody Scott), and Niel Scott (Judy Scott).

Debbie’s warmth, kindness, and love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
