Delbert Eikenberry

Del passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at home, at the age of 63. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lilie Eikenberry; ex-wife, Marsha Carey; children, Jacob (Ashley) Eikenberry, Aaron (Nicole) Eikenberry, Amy (James) Asberry, Jordan Eikenberry and Owen Eikenberry; grandchildren, Amelia, Eloise and Margot Eikenberry; his father, Marvin (Mary) Eikenberry; sister, Cherri (Jon) Saindon; brother, Dean (Beth) Eikenberry; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Eikenberry; and sister, Pamela Hattery.

Del has lived in numerous places including Germany, USA and Canada. He often said that his book of life had many different chapters, each special in its own way. He was a US army veteran from the Gulf War and participated in the National Guard for many years before moving to Canada in 2002 where he spent his remaining years.

Del loved sports and volunteered as a coach for his children’s teams when they were young. He loved nature and the mountains where he would find peace to recharge his soul. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He enjoyed making people laugh and his unusual sense of humour can’t be replaced. May you rest in peace until we meet again.
