It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of the matriarch of our family, Deniece Mary Mulder of Airdrie, Alberta. She spent her final days surrounded by family that she loved and cherished. Deniece passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2026, with her 2 devoted children by her side. She was predeceased by her soulmate and partner in life Luke Mulder. Deniece is lovingly remembered by her two children, Charleen Mulder and Darren (Juanita); 5 grandchildren, Clayton (Sam), Kayla (Mitch), Taylor, Rebecca and Rex; 5 great grandchildren, Cameron, Paisley, Eliza, Jacob and Payton; whom she loved dearly.
All who were fortunate to have known Deniece were lucky to have been touched by her kindness. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a true friend to all who knew her.
After 30 years with he Royal Bank she retired with the love of her life(Luke) and spent many years enjoying the sun in Mesa making many new friends. Her passing will leave a big hole in all the lives of those that knew and loved her that will never truly be filled. My wonderful memories of the things we shared are far too many to list. Needless to say she was a wonderful friend. It was a shock to learn what happened. She will truly be missed. We kept in touch right up to the day before she passed. She and Luke treated us like one of the family. We had some crazy experiences which brought many laughs. Whenever we had to find a new caretaker she would find us the best. Her bake goods were most delicious. John and I send you all our deepest sympathy,
