In Memory: Denise LeBorgne

Denise LeBorgne (nee Carfantan) passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026 at the age of 84 years. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Joan (Raymond) and Diane (Greg); daughter in law, Christine; grandchildren, Kimberly (David), Cameron (Jennifer), Cooper and Riley; and her great-grandchildren, Rebekah, Abigail, Alayna, Maddison, Issac and Benjamin; by her four sisters, Jeannine, Viviane, Bernadette and Marie (Dennis); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; brother, Marcel; and son, Eric. She enjoyed many crafts including embroidery, knitting, baking and gardening.

We would like to send a special thank you to the caring staff of the Claresholm General Hospital.

A Memorial Mass will be held at the Christ the King Catholic Church, 344 50 Ave. Claresholm, AB on Saturday, August 29th at 2:00 pm.

One of my core memories when growing up was spending a week or two in the summer with Auntie Denise on her farm in Southern Alberta. She always welcomed me and provided a loving home, and I had great summers with Auntie and the rest of the family. Auntie's kind, loving personality made everyone who spent time with her admire her and who she was. She was always happy to see and hear from you and made time to talk and visit by phone or in person—my deepest condolences to Auntie's family and all who had the opportunity to know Auntie Denise.
