Donovan Giesbrecht

Dragon as he preferred to be called passed away Sunday, July 6 2025. He leaves to mourn his daughter, Kristy Ziegler; his son, Alexander Pederson; his step-children, Dalamar, Rikus and Kitira; siblings, Rhonda, Patty and Bill; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and special friend, Dawn Winfield, whom he shared many loving years together, and the last few years as best friends forever. Dragon was predeceased by his parents, Wylie Giesbrecht, Della Bolze and step-mother, June Giesbrecht.

Dragon was born on August 27, 1969 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He lived quite a few places over the years including Sask, Alberta and BC. He loved to travel . He was a jack of all trades but especially loved cooking. He had many hobbies and interests over the years such as racing, building models, and collecting all sorts of things. You could usually find him tinkering on anything with a motor, travel mug of coffee, music playing, leather and rings on and a dog by his side. A very special thank you to Dalamar for being by his side in his final time. Upon Dragons request there will be no formal memorial service. Final words would be, “See you later Donkey.”
