Doris Margaret Young

Doris Young passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the age of 56 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger; children, Josh (Bradley) and Roger JR; sister, Donna; brothers, Chris, Alan, and Mike; many nieces and nephews; as well as close family friend, Cuyler Maringer. She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Marilyn Windover.

Doris grew up in Timmins, Ontario with many loved ones and after starting her family with her husband, moved to Alberta where she made many more friends and connections. She had such a kind heart and wanted to help everyone she could.

The family would like to thank everyone who came to visit Doris in her final days and those that were unable to make it but still had her in their thoughts, as well as all of the nurses and doctors at the Red Deer Regional Hospital who cared for her while she was sick. They would also like to thank Elizabeth from Prairie Rose for making the final arrangements as easy as possible.
