In Memory
Dwane Guay

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Dwane Guay on Friday, June 26, 2026.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, on February 13, 1984, Dwane will be remembered for his gentle heart, infectious laugh, and remarkable ability to make everyone around him smile. Known by many as “Dude” or “Dubz,” he had a playful spirit, loved making people laugh with his spot-on impersonations, and had a way of brightening every room he entered. He was the kind of person who would do anything for those he loved and always chose kindness over conflict.
An adventurer at heart, Dwane found happiness in the outdoors, whether camping, hiking, or simply taking long walks with his beloved dog, Ozzy and his daughters. Music was one of his greatest passions, and he was a devoted fan of heavy metal. His favourite bands included Disturbed but truly admired Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath. He rarely missed the opportunity to enjoy a great concert and share his love of music with those around him.
Family meant everything to Dwane. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Shylynn and Skyla; and by Catherine and Michelle, whom he helped raise and loved as his own. He also shared a special bond with his younger sister, Alyssa, and treasured the memories they made growing up in a close-knit neighbourhood filled with lifelong friends, laughter, and adventure.
Dwane was the beloved son of Alison Guay and David Guay. He will also be deeply missed by his many uncles, cousins, extended family, and countless friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, humour, and generous spirit.
In keeping with Dwane’s wishes, a private cremation will take place with close family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family sincerely appreciates the love, kindness, and support they have received during this difficult time and respectfully requests privacy as they grieve this tremendous loss.
Dwane will be Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
