Elaine E. Dirks

Elaine Ellen Dirks, loving mother, sister, grandmother & great grandmother and friend passed away Sunday, December 28th, 2025 at the age of 90.

She was born December 15th, 1935, in Stenen, Saskatchewan. Early in her work career she was a telephone operator at what is now called SaskTel, she worked in the financial industry for many years as well. She cared deeply for her family and friends and always put others first. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Donna; youngest son, Blair (Michelle); sister, Dona (Cyrill); brother, Ken ( Suzie); grandkids, Stacey (Rob), Stephanie (Randall), Emily & Amy; great-grandkids, Eric, Larissa, Taylor & Logan; and several nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Myrtle Smith; husband, Laurie; and son, Darrell.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation is made to the local Veterans Food Bank.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
