We met Elmer a few years back when the Senior Curling Championship was held in Airdrie. Justin carried one of the flags along with Elmer. We also enjoyed our curling times with Elmer at the Airdrie Curling Club and have missed him this season. Sympathy to all Elmer's family.

Our heartfelt condolences to Mary, Melissa, Jolene and the family of the passing of your husband, father and grandfather of the 5 grandsons. Elmer was a very true friend and we enjoyed our talks whenever we got together. I personally enjoyed sharing our grandchildren's involvement with sports which he dearly loved to talk about. These last few years were a struggle and were hard on him and we hope and pray he is now at peace with his Lord and Savior. He will be truly missed. May you rest in peace my dear friend.

To Mary and family,
As cousins, Elmer and I spoke frequently over the years. He was great at keeping me up to date with all the other Stang cousins. I hold a special place for him in my heart.
