Florence Fisher

Florence Mary Fisher passed away in Calgary on Monday, December 5^th, 2022, at the age of 84.

Florence will be remembered most for her loving kindness and caring heart. She left behind a beautiful example to her family and friends of graciousness, forgiveness and holding short accounts with everyone she knew.

Her deep inner beauty has left a deep imprint upon her four daughters, and it was a privilege for them to have her as their beloved mother. She was always there for her daughters, supporting and encouraging them. She was their biggest cheerleader.

Florence was a passionate and lifelong gardener. Her flower gardens were wild and bountiful, brimming with stunning colorful blooms and plants.

She also loved to travel, and spent time with her sister Eleanor in Greece, Italy, France, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey, and Portugal. She also travelled to the Philippines and Indonesia.

Florence loved to have fun, especially when it involved a party with family and friends. She loved dressing up in costumes, and never hesitated to get up on the dance floor grooving with the best of them!

Florence's legacy will continue to shine brightly, a testament to the power of her love and grace. Her beautiful spirit continues to live on in her family and those who loved her.

 She is lovingly remembered by her children, Debra Walsh (Doug Cuppen), Pamela Dennison, Jacqueline Garland, and Joni Fisher (Hal Canham); grandchildren, Ashley Fisher, Nathaniel Walsh, Jayna Walsh, Laura Dennison, Nicholas Pasutto, Kathryn Harris, and Alexandra Garland; great-grandchildren, Lane Larson, Jayce Garland, River and Robin Harris; siblings, Eleanor McKinley, Henry Eklund, Sheila Monkman, Victor Ekland, Sandra Foster, Diana Miller, and Darlene McLean; and her special friend Dalvis Smith.
