Frank Eugene Borson
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our
Genie. He died peacefully at the Foothills Hospital.
Born in Saskatchewan, he moved to Calgary about
1958 where he met his future wife Glenda. The two married in 1963. Son, Tommy
was born in 1964 followed by daughter, Beverley a year later and three years
later daughter, Gail joined the family.
During his life Gene dabbled in many things.
Concrete and Gravel, built a few houses, worked at both the Tire Shop and the
Body Shop, sold a little real estate and for the last 26 years of his working
life, worked for Five Star/Lafarge as loader/plant operator.
Retiring after a stroke at age 67, Gene puttered
at odd jobs until he and Glenda moved to Fletcher Village in Airdrie where
they enjoyed a further 10 years together. He died 3 days after their 61st wedding
anniversary.
Besides his wife, Eugene is lovingly remembered
by daughters, Bev and Gail; and brothers, Ed (Millie), and Carl. As well
as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and in-law family.
He was predeceased by his son, Tom; his parents,
