It
is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Zacharias, a beloved
husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Frank was born on August 20,
1941, in Winkler, Manitoba, and peacefully left this world on December 18,
2023, in Drumheller, Alberta.
Frank
had a zest for life and cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He
had a heart full of love for his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he
adored. Frank's joy knew no bounds when he was surrounded by his family and
friends, whether it was participating in outdoor activities, curling, swinging
his golf clubs, or enjoying the beauty of nature during camping trips.
Lovingly
remembered by his devoted wife, Carol, Frank leaves behind a legacy of love and
cherished memories. He will forever be held close in the hearts of his son,
Shane (Cindy); his daughters, Terry and Tammy (Frank); his stepchildren, Tim,
Cindy (Dave), Kelly (Cindy), and Tara. Frank's spirit will also be carried on
by his beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, Cody, Jordan, Tyler, Savannah,
Rory, Braiden, Jade, and Emily.
Frank
will be greatly missed by his brothers, Jason and Henry (Deanie); his sister,
Joyce; and numerous nephews and nieces who were touched by his kindness and
warm nature.
A
Celebration of Life in honor of Frank's remarkable journey will be held at a later
date and will be updated here for reference. We invite all family members and
friends to come together.
