Gene Lane

Gene Lane Passed away at his home in Didsbury, with his family by his side, on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the age of 85.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Debbie; sons, Joe and Mike; as well as many relatives and friends, some who Gene considered family.

Gene is predeceased by his mother, Enid; Wife, Lorraine; and son, Daniel.

Gene was an ironworker for local 97. His hobbies included scuba diving, fishing and dancing. He lived in Calgary, Vancouver, Vancouver Island and finally resting is Didsbury.

The family would like to thank Lindsay, Jaymie, Shelly and Amanda of homecare and Brad and Stacey of Value Drugs, as well as the many people who helped us through this difficult time.
