George William Achtemychuk

George passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025 at the age of 88 years old.

He will be remembered by his brothers, Leslie (Betty) and Donald (Rose), his daughter, Gaylene; and his grandsons, Colin, Alexander and Dyllan.

George was a truck driver by trade and hung up his keys 20 years prior.

George moved to Red Deer 4 years ago and resided at the Parkvale Lodge. A huge thank you to Glenna and the homecare staff who made sure he was always comfortable. Also, thank you to the doctors and nurses of Unit 32 at the Red Deer Hospital who were challenged by dad's stubbornness and his few words. Always was a man of few words.

There will be spreading of the ashes in the summer of 2026.
