Gesiena Johanna was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Lucas
Van Dyk.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lucas (Reina); Wannetta (Jim);
George (Helen); her grandchildren; a sister in Lacombe and a brother in
Victoria.
She was predeceased by her parents and 5 brothers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200

A private family interment took place in Airdrie, Alberta.

Such a beautiful lady that I had the honour of getting to know, and to help out. We had such nice chats about just everything that would end up with a few bouts of laughter. Loved seeing Sini smile. Such a battler, she gives me inspiration to carry on. Another angel.

I'll always remember as a child visiting and loving sleeping in the house with fresh sheets on the bed. I know it's a weird memory but it stuck. Listening to the Beatles White album with cousin Lucas and George. Unfortunately life gets in the way and people drift apart, yet there was and is a special place in my heart for Aunty Sini.
