Gordon Biblow

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our brother, Gordon Biblow, who lost his long battle with cancer at Calgary Foothills Hospital.

Gordon was born on October 17, 1954, in Drumheller, AB, the eldest of 5 children to Fred & Lydia Biblow. Raised in Rosebud, he graduated from Drumheller Composite High School before beginning a construction career. His early years in Rosebud included fond memories of playing men’s fastball. Later, he enjoyed the western lifestyle, especially riding his horses in Kananaskis Country and photography. Spending time on the ranch helping out sister Twylla and niece Adelita was very special to him. He liked to talk about his lifelong friends, was always up for a good laugh, and unreservedly shone with an independent spirit and unwavering true grit.

Gordon was predeceased by his father, Fred; his brother, Howard; and his Mother, Lydia. He is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Twylla and Karen; brother, Linley as well as numerous extended family members, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday September, 3 at 11:00 AM at the Southwood Community Centre: 11 Sackville Drive SW Calgary. All are welcome.
