I have many great memories of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell due to my close childhood friendship with their son Ken. It all started in Acadia on Arbour Crescent just down the street from the Campbell residence where Ken and I attended David Thompson Junior High School in the early 1970's. I enjoyed many years hanging out in their garage watching Mr. Campbell rebuild his barn find Indian Scout and Indian Chief motorcycles. And best of all was watching Mr. Campbell coach his sons while they rebuilt their 1955, 1956 and 1957 two door, hard top Chevy's to pristine show room condition. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell provided a very safe and friendly environment for their boys to hang out with their friends. I am very grateful to have spent so many enjoyable years with the Campbell family and I wish to convey my deepest condolences Ken and Ron for the loss of their beloved parents.

My deepest sympathy to Kenny, Norma, Ron and Sylvia;
I now live in Saskatoon but lived in Calgary for many years and
I have many special memories of visiting with Gord and Norma in their lovely home in Calgary while
hanging out with Kenny! Norma always offered us tea and sweets and Gord had such great stories to tell us and would always pray for us before we left! I also remember their beautiful tabby orange cat "Mick" that the Campbell's adored!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time! May God Bless each of you!
Kenny please reach out to me!

We remember how you and Gordon loved to go out for weekends with the trailer. We had a trailer then also. Norma, I remember how fast you could pick Saskatoon berries, especially when you and I went South towards Okotoks and picked berries. Another time you and I were shopping in an antique store in Okotoks and found a lovely piece to your China for which you had been looking for a long time. Oh such sweet memories to warm our hearts at this sad time. Please accept our deepest sympathies. As we trust in Christ until we are all home again. Warmest regards, Sandra & Nestor.

It is a great loss to us all who knew him, Pastor Gordon Campbell. He has had such impact in my life each time I get to attend the church service where he served. He is a true servant of the Living God. May the Lord our God comfort Pastor Gordon's family and those who are impacted by his departure. Grace, comfort, love and peace be upon all.

Surely he had fought a good fight here for our Lord! Glory to His name who raised up a man like Pastor Gordon in our midst.

He may have departed for now....but beautiful memories of him and what he represented still lingers on, a God glorifying legend he left with us.

May we too be encouraged to live a life for His glory!

Thank you dear Pastor Gordon, you are a beautiful man of God inside out. Praise the Lord for you!

My condolences to the family...

I knew Gordon for my entire life I'll never forget when I was younger he would take me for rides on his bike. When ever we visited he allways took the time to ask about my life and offer good advice. You will be missed, you and your family helped make me the man I am today and I'll be forever grateful.

Rest in peace

It is with sadness that we received the phone call from Ken with the news morning of August 25, that our longtime and special friend Gordon had passed away.
Thankful for so many cherished memories of visits, meals and travel experiences too with Gordon and Norma.I was at Norma and Gordon’s bridal shower just before the wedding. Life happens inbetween and Gordon was at our residence in Saskatoon to estimate our move to Calgary. They later also
Moved to Calgary where we renewed our acquaintance and continued a stong bond of special friendship. Even travels to Phoenix Ariz and Samstown Vegas! Later Gordon while with North American Van Lines he was my boss when Allan and I worked a short duration in the packing dept. Allan always has appreciated that Gordon has been helpful to him by being an employment reference.
We’ve all appreciated Gordon’s ministry as he has been helpful to so many folks with spiritual needs and wanting to do what’s right.
While Gordon will always be remembered and missed, our hearts and prayers are with Norma, Ken, Ron & Sylvia !
