Gordon Delorme

Gordon Murray Delorme went home to be with his Savior on Monday, January 8th, 2024, at the age of 91. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Betty, of 60 years; his children, Linda, Clarence (Barbara), Brenda (Dennis), Guy (Ruth), Lisa (Shawn), and Karen (Shea); as well as his treasured grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, David and Esther; his son, Brent; and all nine of his siblings. Known as the "Fiddlin Barber”, Gordon was always ready with a smile and a laugh. His faith and love for his family were evident, and his absence will be deeply felt. We look forward to the day when we can see him again in Heaven, as we know this is not “goodbye”, it’s “see you later”. The Delorme family wants to extend their gratitude for the care and kindness provided by his doctor, all the staff of Didsbury Hospital Unit One, and all the friends who have offered their support and compassion at this time. 

A Memorial Service will be held at the Zion Evangelical Missionary Church in Didsbury, AB, on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM
