He was born on September 30, 1931, to Thomas and Mary Helen Henderson (nee Reynolds) in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.

He was the vice principal at St. Mary’s school when I started teaching. He would entertain the staff at recess and lunch hour with his humorous stories. He was an extremely good friend over all these years.

We met Gordon when I ( Carol) was teaching at St.Mary's School in Saskatoon. We loved his witty and sarcastic sense of humor. We will always appreciate Gordon's call of condolence when our son passed.

I’m so sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing. He was a wonderful neighbor to my mom, Lena, for many years and she was very sad to hear of his passing.
