It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Rinas, who left us on April 5, 2026, in Olds, Alberta. Born on September 4, 1977, in Olds, Alberta, Greg was a beloved son, brother, father, Uncle and friend to many.
Greg had a passion for sports, particularly hockey, baseball, and golf. He also enjoyed spending time playing poker and working out at the gym. He was a kind-hearted and generous soul who always had a smile on his face and a joke to share.
Greg will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Ashley Gray, mother Nancy Wilkinson (Larry), father Terry Rinas, brother Robin Rinas (Kristy), sister Melissa Rinas, grandmother Linda Rinas, nieces and nephews Phoenix Meronowich (Noah), Taiten Rinas (Jenny), Dane Wood, Paris Rinas, and Preslyn Rinas.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Don and Joan Jones, Ron and Ethel Rinas, uncle Donny Jones, aunt Bonny Richter, uncles Brian Rinas, Kevin Rinas, and Wayne Rinas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Olds Legion, located at 5241 46 St, Olds, Alberta, on April 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Greg will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
