Harmke "Tammy" Van Den Oetelaar

Harmke (Tammy) Van Den Oetelaar passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the age of 85.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Joe Oetelaar; their 3 children, Liz (Mike), Ron (Sandra) & Tracy; the grandchildren, James (Tracy) & Nicole (Jason); and great-grandchildren, Braden, Madison, & Bonnie; siblings, Jane Myers, Bill Alberda, John (Dorothy) Alberda, Ann Alberda; brother-in-law Jan Bierman; and sisters-in-law Elsie Alberda, and Diane Alberda.

She was predeceased by her parents Willem & Baukje Alberda; sister Wilma Bierman; brothers, Rudy Alberda, Jouke Alberda & Al Alberda; and sisters-in-law Phyllis Alberda, and Carolyn Alberda.

Tammy and Joe continued to camp every summer and loved to spend time on a beach every winter. Family was one of the most important things to Tammy, and she was always happiest when she was surrounded by the people she loved. We can all share comfort knowing that she will be reunited with the family members that are no longer with us.
