Hazel Barbaro

Hazel Barbaro passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the age of 93, after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Hazel spent her early life working for the Bookies, then several years with Eatons as a supervisor in fabrics. Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Joe, on August 30, 2001. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Jim (Monica); granddaughters, Amy (Ryan) and Lindsay (Evan); great-granddaughter, Ava Leigh; her special friend and caregiver, Teresa Merritt; as well as several nieces and nephews and their families.

The family would also like To thank the staff at CareWest George Boyack for the care they provided over the past two years for Hazel.

As per Hazel’s request, no Service will be held.
