Hazel Dolores Paradis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hazel on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, who passed away peacefully in her home at the lodge at the age of 84 after battling many health issues.

She was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and grew up on the family farm; where she continued to live with her young family before moving to Red Deer in the 1960's. Hazel worked for many years at the Red Deer Hospital in the linens department until her retirement.

Hazel will be fondly missed by her three children, Debora (Darryl), Michelle (Dave), and Rodney; her seven grandchildren, Tanner, Tyler (Kourtney), Jamie (Lee), Shane, Allan, Candice (Wes), and Danielle (Stuart); and eight great-grandchildren and extended family members.

She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, and grandson, Christopher. Hazel enjoyed reading, game and nature shows. She had a special fondness for wolves and loved her wolf t-shirts, blankets and calendars. ln her younger years she enjoyed camping and fishing.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Taylor View Towers and the Red Deer Emergency Department for all those involved in Hazel's excellent care.

A family service will be held at a later date.
