Heather Schumacher

Heather Schumacher, beloved partner, and cherished friend, passed away recently leaving behind a legacy of boundless generosity and warmth. She is lovingly remembered by her partner, Ron; stepson, Dallas (Mandy); sisters, Liz (Ron), Cheryl, and Ashley; and many friends in Ontario, including Diane, Marylou, and Carolyn.

Born in Wingham, ON,  to Dave and Muriel Neilson, Heather touched the lives of all who knew her with her radiant smile and an ever-present willingness to help others. Heather’s infectious laugh could light up a room and her compassionate spirit  made everyone feel like they were the most important person in the world.

Known for her generosity, she was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back without a second thought. Her door was always open to friends and strangers alike and many can recount times when Heather’s kindness made a difference in their lives.

As we say goodbye, we carry forward the lessons and compassion and unconditional love that Heather embodied. Her legacy will continue to inspire generosity and kindness in our community for years to come.
